Rapper Falz has issued an open letter to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in response to the death of Lagos-based lawyer Bolanle Raheem.

On Christmas Day, a police officer assigned to the Ajiwe Police Station in the Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos State, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dambri Vandi shot and murdered Bolanle Raheem.

Bolanle’s tragic death has elicited responses, with state and federal authorities vowing justice.

In response to Bolanle’s death, Falz turned to Twitter to write an open letter to Governor Sanwolu-Olu demanding justice and transparency.

The artiste did not miss an opportunity to remind the Governor of what occurred during the EndSARS demonstration in the state, and how the youth were labelled troublemakers for seeking better governance and fair treatment for police enforcement personnel.

In a stern warning and advice to the Governor, the rapper stated that if the trigger-happy police officer is not punished and the details of justice proceedings are not made public, there will be an open invitation to chaos.
