Nigerian ace singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile has revealed that rap legend Olamide has been a huge support to him since the start of his music career.
He said that he met Olamide in 2017 and often begged for assistance as a struggling singer, adding that he appreciated how the Melo Melo crooner communicated with him on social media.
Speaking during the Tea with Taymesan Podcast, Zlatan said The YBNL boss was the first person that gave him the boost his career needed.
He said that he was originally signed to an unpopular record label, but when he featured Oritse Femi, Olamide acknowledged his efforts and decided to reach out.
The “Lagos Anthem” hit-maker explained how the YBNL owner called him and showed up to his music video shoot, after which Olamide was promoting him on the internet, and his life changed from that moment forward.
The “Zanku” record label boss said another exciting moment for him was when Davido posted a video of him and Ecool vibing to his song.
